This weeks edition of Take 3 we talked to Designs of the Times Signs and knowing how busy they are they took the time out to give us some insight on their social media. Designs of the Times is a custom sign and graphics company that helps promote your business and leads your guests to where they need to go. They have everything from vehicle wraps to custom entry signage. They have been in business since 1978, and an educated, experienced staff.
How has social media impacted your organization?
It’s given us the opportunity to showcase our clients and the work we’ve done with them.
How do you find the time to maintain a successful social media campaign?
We’ve made it a priority and part of our workflow. That being said, sometimes we do miss an opportunity because we are busy. It is important to us that we be as consistent as possible.
We’ve also begun sharing our digital strategy duties with more members of our team. (Always helpful!)
What advice do you have for organizations that will help their social media?
Focus on the social media outlet that can benefit you the most. We have a highly visual profession. Photography is key in showing clients and potential clients our capabilities. Also, don’t bite off more than you can chew! It is easy to fall into the “shiny new object” mentality but just because a new network becomes available, doesn’t mean it is right for your business objectives.
